2022年8月8日（月）、いわさきちひろ（1918～1974）がこの世を去って、48年目の夏を迎えます。
ちひろ美術館・東京は8月7日（日）、安曇野ちひろ美術館は8月8日（月）に、館内にちひろの写真を飾り、ちひろが生涯願い続けた「世界中の子どもたちのしあわせと平和」を、ご来館のみなさまと分かち合う一日にします。

みなさまのご来館をお待ちしております。
※ちひろ美術館・東京は、8月8日（月）は休館いたしますので、お気をつけください。

生涯を通して、「子どものしあわせと平和」を願い続けたいわさきちひろ。
8月7日・8日の「ちひろ忌」にあわせて、ちひろ美術館（東京・安曇野）のSNSでは、ちひろの作品とともに、ちひろが遺したことばを紹介します。

August 8th 2022 marks the 48th summer since Chihiro Iwasaki (1918-1974) passed away.
The Chihiro Art Museum is working on various activities to convey her wish for peace.
Chihiro Art Museum Tokyo on August 7th and Chihiro Art Museum Azumino on August 8th will display Chihiro’s portrait to share with the visitors “Peace and happiness for all the children of the world” which was her wish through her life.
