イベ・マルフ (1938~) は、インドネシアの「スケッチの王様」として知られ、1960年代からインドネシアの子どもの本の画家として活躍しました。
彼の功績と文化保存をチームで調査している、バンドン工科大学のリアマ准教授によるトーク、彼が絵を手がけた詩のインドネ シア語での朗読や、インドネシアの絵本の現在についての紹介などを行います(通訳あり)。
Ipe Ma’aruf (b. 1938), known as Indonesia’s “King of Sketches,” has been a leading figure in Indonesian picture book illustration since the 1960s.
Join Associate Professor Riama Maslan Sihombing from Institut Teknologi Bandung as she presents research, conducted with her team, on Ipe Ma’aruf’s contributions to Indonesian illustration and cultural preservation.
The talk will feature a reading of a poem in Indonesian from a work he illustrated, alongside an overview of contemporary Indonesian picture books.
