Tuesday – Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Note: Entry allowed up to 30 minutes before closing time.
Closed on Mondays except national holidays.
When open on a Monday that coincides with a national holiday, the Museum will be closed on the following Tuesday.
Open every day during Japanese Golden Week holidays (April 27 through May 6).
The Museum is closed over the New Year’s holidays, temporarily every two months during exhibition changes, and from February 1 through the middle of March.

Access
By Train
From Haneda Airport
Take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station (approx. 16 min.), transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and get off at Takadanobaba Station (approx. 22 min.). Transfer to the Seibu Shinjuku Line and get off at Kamiigusa Station (approx. 20 min.).
From Narita Airport
Route 1) Take the Narita Express to Shinjuku Station (approx. 90 min.). Transfer to the Seibu Shinjuku Line and get off at Kamiigusa Station (approx. 20 min.).
Route 2) Take the Keisei Skyliner to Nippori Station (approx. 44 min.), transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and get off at Takadanobaba Station (approx. 16 min.). Transfer to the Seibu Shinjuku Line and get off at Kamiigusa Station (approx. 20 min.).
The museum is a 7 minute walk from Kamiigusa station, Seibu Shinjuku Line; a 5 minute walk from Kamiigusa-eki Iriguchi stop, Seibu bus Ogi #14 from Ogikubo station, Chuo Line, or from Shakujii Koen station, Seibu Ikebukuro Line.

Groups
Groups of 10+ will get a JPY200 discount per person on admission and are welcome by appointment. To schedule, please fill out and submit the following application form.
Application for Group visits
Gallery talks are available upon request. Talks, usually conducted in Japanese, last about 10 to 15 minutes and cover the museum’s history, Chihiro Iwasaki, and current exhibitions. For talks in English, please submit a request prior to your visit. Groups of fewer than 20 people are also welcome to make appointments for gallery talks (although group admission discounts will not apply). Visitors are requested to read PLEASE NOTE before their visit.
PLEASE NOTE
Food and drinks are not permitted in the building except the café. Also, smoking in the museum, entering the museum with pets, and taking photographs or video in the exhibit rooms are prohibited.
To protect the artwork, please do not touch exhibited works.
