Snow, the Moon, the Wind and Flowers as Seen in the Chihiro Art Museum Collection
Every country in the world has its own unique natural landscape which nurtures and develops cultures distinct to its region. Many of the picture books created in these different places reflect their regional scenery. In this exhibit we present the Chihiro Art Museum collection with the theme of snow, the moon, wind and flowers, from the Japanese word Setsu Getsu Fu Ka that expresses the natural beauty of the four seasons. We hope you will enjoy the expression of snow, the moon, gentle wind, and flowers – universally loved themes as indicated by these picture books from around the world.
